Description:

The Storch never served in the SAAF.

The SAAF Museum Historic Flight's Storch was sent to Fornborough in 1945 for evaluation. In was then donated to South Africa, arriving at Dunnottar in 1946 and flown until 1950.

It then went into storage until 1977, when restoration began, flying once more on 30 December 1979. The aircraft is presently on static dispaly.
