Thanks guys, Me-163 is pretty much finished, I just need to clean up around cockpit and little windows a bit but otherwise done!

The Dragon 1/48 Me-163 built out of the box with only the number 9 used from the Kagero sheet.
Painted entirely straight out the tin with the new Humbrol RLM enamels.

Not a perfect build by any means but I am happy with the result.

The top set is Hasegawa Ar234B, the bottom set is Revell Ar234C.
Both kits were launched in 2002 by these kit brands boxing's, half the sprue's are the same. The wings and forward fuselage is where they differ. Hasegawa boxed this Ar234C kit in 2009.

I know this is perhaps weird, I built the wings first, have not touched anything else yet.
The top colour is RLM 81 brown-violet and RLM?? (some say 82, others 83) light green.

I have not decided what configuration I will be doing, recon, bomber, perhaps 3 bombs?

It will be nice to see how these build.

Between these two kits, this is the only section that is common. The cockpit section and wings are different.
The one fuselage has camera's mounted in it. It is up in the air if I will make one of them, B or C a PR aircraft. I may make them both bombers, but with different loads.

Good stuff, keep the photo's coming

jeffreynic, are you aware of the fit problem with the Hasegawa kit, its an easy fix, quoted below.

take note:

"It is essential to note that the forward bulkhead (part A18) is slightly too big for its space in the forward fuselage. If this piece is glued in place without modification, the nose section will not fit properly. I trimmed the edges and bottom of this forward bulkhead, test-fitting against the nose and fuselage parts until the fit was perfect. The part was then glued into place".

No, I was not aware, thanks for the heads up.
That part applies to the "B" model and not the "C" model.

So far, the only fit issue I had that I did not expect from Hasegawa, was the fit on the "B" model's engine nacelles to the wings, sanding and putty to fill gaps.

Cockpit differences between B and C are quite a few, including the shape of the cockpit.

Left is C, right is B.

Ja ja ja, I know, I'm moving at a snail pace, I wish I could hurry up.
Started the other day on a kit I started over a year ago, purchase 14 years ago.

I'v decided to make them both bombers, but different loads.
