Thanks Mars,

I don't agree bout the area ruling, and think it's a bit of an optical illusion. The nose lines are continuous :smt023
Thanks for your comment though, it keeps me on my toes

Incredible work so far =D>

You may well be right, when you refer to profile change as being an optical illusion. I suspect it might be due to the change in shape form ovular (rear) to circular (front).

One way to see this is to look at the shadow profile of the nose.

Thanks Mars ;)

This photo is on this very forum, and shows exactly why it gives the impression of area ruling. Third row, second picture.

I see what you are seeing, but it's merely the perspective of close up photography, and on other photos from the side, it's the air data probe, intake and katballetjies under the nose that makes the continuous taper look bulbous.

Hi guys,

Happy new year to everyone!
Another 1/32 scale product has just been completed. This is SW32-10 Mirage IIIB (BZ and BJ included) resin conversion set based on the Italeri Mirage IIIC.
Here's some pics.

Wow, John, good to see you still going. =D>

Even a Proj Carver model! Hopefully there will be a large market for that one.

Hi Bladerunner,

I see that the Springbok Castle's on the Mirage IIIBZ all face the same direction.

I'm sure that you also noticed it and rectified it.

Admittedly I only saw the decal sheet now.
