Plenty of options on the new sheets for a variety of aircaft (although I've been lead to believe that the roundels for the Mustangs are the wrong size ?)

On a serious note, I believe that early war Gladiators based in Africa were painted in the temperate land / shadow camouflage scheme ? (The upper and lower greens on the model are different too - Humbrol 30 on the top and Humbrol 117 on the lower).

I'm afraid that the Gladiator never really appealed to me as a subject, and the only reason I built it was to be a stablemate for the Arma Model Hurricane that I built last year :

Best Regards

Mitchem that's a beautiful build! =D> =D>

In fact both the Gladiator and Hurricane are beautiful.

Very interesting to see that only the port underwing has a roundel, normally both wings had roundels on them.

To answer the question of the different shades of camouflage on the upper and lower wing upper wing surfaces, was to compensate for the shadow of the upper wing.
This was standard for all bi-plane aircraft in the RAF / SAAF /Commonwealth air forces.

However, this was not the case with Royal Navy bi-plane aircraft.
