Air Force finally breaks the silence over 'Gripen crash'

After six weeks of waiting for a response, the South African Air Force (SAAF) finally confirmed an incident during which one of its Gripen fighter craft was severely damaged during a routine maintenance incident.

Thank you for posting news of this significant incident, and for the link to 'Zoutpansberger'. Factual news, indeed any kind of news, pertaining to the SAAF is rare these days.
