I discovered one of the white overalls I have is actually part of the high-altitude Flight Suite.
(For some reason i kept thinking it was my old baker overall used weekends at Checkers and left it in the boxes).

Does anybody know if the SAAF actually used it?

It comes in three Pieces,

Full face Helmet,
White outside overall
Think Inner suite.

Only have this picture with the SAAF,

SAAF Mirage IIIEZ and RZ pilots used the SurvĂȘtement SGP Type 21 white leather overall over the Type 21 helmet with T.21 green nylon skirt and EFA Type 30 stratospheric suit.

This is my helmet and suit: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9773&start=30#p122448

I just need the the white leather overall to complete it.

We should also not forget the EFA Type 25 undergarment that goes under all of the above!

The Type 12 helmet is a different helmet, don't think used by the SAAF in SA.

That is Sgt Killian helping Bob King to suit up for a high altitude sortie, as explained to me by Bob himself when he sent me a non-cropped version of that photo.

However, I suspect the cockpit photo filename is incorrect as it should be a Mirage IIIEZ (or RZ), not CZ.

That is a very young Graham Rochat (I don't think Bob King), my OC during my time at AFB Grootfontein 1988,
