Surely well known on the forum but first for me Dragon Peaks AFB in private ownership iirc- went for pleasure heli ride from Dragon Peaks AFB / CL van Wyngaard Airfield 2 weeks ago - perfect viz

Used by SAAF helicopter sqds for annual camp…. Dragon Peaks Resort

Lovely pictures - does this mean that the site is no longer used by the SAAF at all, or that they've just relinquished ownership?

It was never owned by the SAAF, they just use it for training, as and when required.

Did a flip from there as well. Champagne breakfast on the little berg. Very nice. Especially the drop off over the little berg escarpment...
