About this Squadron

This unit performs maintenance and support functions.

Established in 2000, the primary customer of the unit is 87 HFS.

6 ASU also services Oryx and A109LUH helicopters for 15, 17, 19 and 22 Squadrons, as well as TFDC. They also have an Avionic crew assisting 16 Sqn with the Rooivalk.
