THE AIRFORCE - BASES - SAAF GYMNASIUM

The core business of the South African Air Force Gymnasium is to provide Basic Military Training to new recruits.
The Air Force Gymnasium was founded on 1 December 1951 and moved to the Valhalla site (opposite Swartkop) in January 1959. As a result of dolomite sinkhole activity in the region, in November 2008 the Gymnasium relocated to the Boston complex just outside the Hoedspruit base, in Limpopo Province.
