Description:

S-55C A4 (c/n 55-959) was sold in 1967, becoming ZS-HCO. A4 returned to the SAAF Museum in 1984 and was restored to airworthiness in the colours of A5.

Unfortunately, the SAAF Museum Historic Flight S-55 crashed in the grounds of the SA Museum of Military History in Johannesburg on 2 May 1995. The remains are at the Museums facilitys at Swartkop, awaiting rebuild.
