Description:

The aircaft flown by the SAAF Museum Historic Flight  is C-47A Dakota 6869 (c/n 11911 ).

 Another Dakota is presently been restored to airworthiness at AFB Ysterplaat by members of the Friends with the assistance of the SA Aviation Foundation Museum. This is C-47A-75-DL Dakota 6832 (c/n 12478).
