THE AIRFORCE - AIRCRAFT - D.H.60 MOTH
No incidents found
The De Havilland DH-60 (SAAF serial 502) was ordered directly by the SAAF in order to carry out comparative tests (together with an Avian and an Arrow) to find a replacement for the Avro 504K in the elementary training role. This took place in 1929.
The Avian 4m was chosen and the Moth was sold to a J King in October 1929.
