Appointments and promotions of SAAF officers

The Department of Defence has anonunced the following appointments and promotions of SAAF officers:
- Brig Gen MA Phala is laterally placed in the post of Director Tech Supp Service with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Col NL Mzongwana is appointed and placed in the post of Director Air Transport and Maritime System with promotion to substantive rank of Brig Gen with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Col I S Ferreira is appointed and placed in the post of Director Helicopter System with promotion to substantive rank of Brig Gen with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Brig Gen CA Masters is laterally placed in the post of Director HR SVCS with effect from 1 November 2010.
- Col E Pale is appointed and placed in the post of D Log and promoted to substantive rank of Brig Gen with effect from 1 November 2010.
- Brig Gen SD Mashobane is laterally placed in the post of IG SAAF with effect from the 1 February 2011.
- Col FB Moore is appointed and placed in the post of Director Military Aviation Regulation and Policy with promotion to substantive rank of Brig Gen with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Maj Gen G Malinga is laterally placed inthe post of GOC Air Command with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Brig Gen FZ Msimang is appointed and placed in the post of CD Air Policy and Plan and promoted to the substantive rank of Maj Gen with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Brig Gen JD Pelser is appointed and placed in the post of CD Force Development and Support and promoted to the substantive rank of Maj Gen with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Brig Gen TM Khumalo is appointed and placed in the post of CD Force Preparation and promoted to the substantive rank of Maj Gen with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Brig Gen T Jacobs is laterally placed in the post Dir OPS SUPP within the office of the Chief of Joint Operations with effect from the 1 November 2010.
- Brig Gen CD Schoeman is laterally placed in a vacant post of Director Logistic Management within the office of C LOG with effect from 1 January 2011.
- Brig Gen AL de Wit is laterally placed in the post of Director Career Management within the office of CHR with effect from 1 November 2010.
- Brig Gen M Sitshongaye is laterally placed in the post of Director HR Services Systems within the office of CHR with effect from 1 November 2010.
- Col A van der Walt is appointed and placed in the post of Director within the office of CHR and promoted to substantive rank of Brig Gen with effect from 1 November 2010.
