Tenders awarded during February 2010

Armscor issued a number of tenders and contracts relating to the SAAF during February 2010.
These included the following:
A R734 111,09 extension to the contract for on-demand support services for SAAF Gripen aircraft was awrded to Gripen International KB of Sweden on 11 February.
A Request for quotation was issued on 15 February for the maintenance and support of the Rohde and Schwarz radios, Directional finders and related equipment for the SAAF.
Fifth Dimension Computer Technologies were awarded a R1 035 457,00 extension to their contract on 18 February for the design and development of the aircrew training system for the SAAF.
Also on 18 February, Execujet Maintenance (Pty) Ltd were awarded an extension to their contract related to the Presidential Boeing Business Jet aircraft, valued at R438 597,00.
25 February saw Denel (Pty) Ltd, t/a Denel Dynamics, being awarded an extension to theoir contract for the preparation of A-Darter client furnished equipment items and hardware items for aircraft integration. The contract is valued at R632 660,68.
Grintek Ewation (Pty) Ltd was awarded a R2 280 702,00 extension to their contract on 25 February for the maintenance of the Oryx communication jammer, communication intelligence system and Dakota communication intelligence electronic warfare systems for the SAAF.
On the same date, Electro-EW House CC was awarded an extension to their contract for the maintenance and support of the communication simulator for the SAAF, valued at R1 140 351,00.
Another contract extended on this date was to Reutech Solutions (Pty) Ltd, t/a RDL, valued at R2 105 264,00, for the maintenance and support of DoD command and control communication transmission network for the SAAF.
Brimet Projects (Pty) Ltd was awarded a R38 967,00 extension to their contract for maintenance and repair of aircraft arrestor barrier systems in the South African Air Force on 25 February.
