Tenders awarded during September 2009

Armscor issued a number of tenders relating to the SAAF during September 2009.
These included the following:
A number extensions to an existing contracts for product support services was awarded to Execujet Maintenance (Pty) Ltd during the month:
- For Beechcraft aircraft worth R1 902 773
- For Cessna Caravan 208 aircraft worth R4 758 382
- For CASA 212 and 235 aircraft worth R460 526
Agusta S.p.A. of Italy was awarded a R9 500 000 extension to their contract on 17 September for on demand support for the A109 light utility helicopter system.
A request for quotation was issued to Denel (Pty) Ltd, t/a Denel Aviation and Martin Baker Aircraft Co. Ltd of the UK on 18 September for the procurement of Martin-Baker multi-functional operators seat for the Super Lynx maritime helicopter.
