Transall's sold

Armscor's Stock Sales Division recently sold eight of the SAAF's retired C160 Transall transports to an unidentified foreign buyer.
The aircraft have been parked on a hard stand at AFB Waterkloof since around 1995. Several plans were formulated and dropped to return them to SAAF service. The aircraft will now be overhauled before being flown to their new owner.
