Bodies of missing crash victims found

The bodies of Flight Engineer Moné Zuidmeer (32) and pilot Lieutenant Simon Baloyi (27) were found floating on the surface of the dam today, four days after the Agusta A109 LUH (4022) helicopter they were flying in, together with Capt Bongani Mdluli (33), nose-dived and crashed into the dam on Tuesday.
On Saturday residents living near the dam spotted the body of Baloyi floating on the water.
About five hours later, an aerial search pilot found the body of Zuidmeer about 300 meters away from where the crash took place.
The wreckage and Mdluli's body were recovered from the dam on Wednesday afternoon.
