Impala Mk II crashes

An Impala MkII of 85 Combat Flying School crashed this evening at 20:55 during a routine night training flight. The pilot did not use his ejection seat. The pilot was Lt. Dian Hedley Smith (25). The cause of the accident is not known at this time and a Board of Enquiry will be convened to determine what happened.
