Astra crashes at AFB Overberg
Date: 15 January 2008
An Astra crashed today shortly after take-off from TFDC at AFB Overberg.
Sadly, the pilot died shortly thereafter in hospital.
While it is too early to speculate on the cause, early reports indicate that the aircraft rolled after getting airborne.
