Mirage F1 package acquired by the Paramount Group and Aerosud

In a media statement, the Paramount Group and Aerosud have announced that they have acquired the full complement of French designed Mirage F1 fighter aircraft from the SANDF.
As part of the deal the Paramount Group and South African based Aerosud have also acquired all the spares and infrastructure to upgrade, maintain and support the aircraft.
The webmaster was informed by Aerosud officials at AAD 2006 that they had purchased 18 Mirage F1 aircraft (presumably the F1 AZ variant), of which eight had been sold to Gabon.
