Maritime Hercs?
Date: 3 May 1999The SAAF is reconsidering the sale of the three ex-USN C-130F aircraft it is storing at AFB Waterkloof and may refurbish them for use in the maritime role. They would then be based at the AFB Ysterplaat sub-unit at Cape Town IAP and operated by 35 Squadron.
