Helicopter crashes on farm

Harrismith - A SA Air Force Alouette III helicopter crashed near the Wimpy Bar in Harrismith on Friday morning, according to an accident witness.
"The crew apparently stopped for coffee then took off and lost power. The rotor sprung back and landed on an animal farm. It's very lucky no one was injured," said the man who did not want to be named.
Harrismith emergency services also confirmed the incident.
"We received the call shortly after 09:20am," assistant fire chief Sello Malimabe said.
They dispatched two units to the scene.
