New deliveries of the A109 and Hawk slip

It was mentioned on the SAAF News group that it was announcement at the Air Force Day Parade at Bays Hill, Zwartkop, on 1 February 2005, that it was the last occasion that the Alouette III and Impala would participate in a formation flypast at an Air Force Day parade.
The Alouette IIIs are being phased out in anticipation of the A109, which has slipped in delivery by some six months. The Impalas will be phased out by December 2005 if all goes well with the Hawk coming into service. However, it is anticipated that the Hawk could also slip in delivery.
