Mustang to be rebuilt, Spitfire put on hold
Date: 28 September 2001Authority has been given for the SAAF Museum Mustang, which landed wheels up at AFB Waterkloof on 6 May 2001, to be repaired. It should be ready to fly by April 2002.
However, the restoration of the Spitfire, which crashed on 15 April 2000, has been put on hold.
