SAAF not looking for VIP pilots

Despite newspaper reports to the contary, the SAAF is not looking to hire commercial pilots for its new VIP jet, rumoured to be the Boeing 737-700.
According to a SAAF insider, there is a process being followed for the acquisition of, the intergration of and
utilisation of the intercontinental Air Force VIP aircraft. The business plan to man the aircraft is a facet of the overall system, and only SAAF pilots and aircrew fly the President.
The SAAF has identified four VIP qualified commanders and a full aircrew complement.
