The SAAF Forum

This is the recently released set from Tamiya which has received some good reviews so I thought I would give it a try. The level of detail is very good and a big improvement to the Tamiya figures from the past, it looks like they have adopted some sort of 3d CAD process for the sculpting. What is very good is how the weapons fit very realistically into the poses and the alignment where needed. I built it out of the box, with the only additions being the rifle, machine gun and tripod carry straps. Painted with Vallejo acrylics. The base is all scratch built from foam and railway modelling scenery bits and pieces.
