The Unofficial SAAF Website has been using a proprietary CMS for the past 16 years. Whilst serving us well, it is now time for a refresh. \:D/

The dev who built the existing website is proposing migrating to Drupal (https://www.drupal.org), given that Drupal is a proven CMS and would be able to do most of what the current site does (albeit with a few custom tweaks).

I'm looking for a few interested persons with PHP development skills that would be willing to help out. The new team will be mentored by the dev who built the existing website. A staging environment for the future site would be used, with code put into Github. Whilst the original dev does not have the time to build and migrate the entire site himself, he is willing to assist (thanks Brett!).

In this way, we can ensure the future of the Unofficial SAAF Website.

Please email me if you'd like to assist. [-o<

Thanks and cheers

Dean

Pleased to read that you are looking ahead in terms of refreshing the site and our interaction with it. My Hypertext pre-processor (PHP) knowledge and related scripting skills are however zero ... :)

I'm looking forward to the refresh - lament not being in a position to assist.
