My latest model - PANDA 1/35 Husky Mk III (VMMD). This is a development of the South African 'Meerkat' mine detection vehicle developed in the 1970's for use on the SWA/Angolan border.
This model of the vehicle is developed in South Africa and is in use with the American forces, Canadian forces, Kenya, Australian Army and the SANDF.
Paint used is Vallejo 70.847 'Dark Sand'. The model is built OOB with the only mods being the fire extinguisher in the cab and the hole drilled out for the pannier hydraulic rods so they can be moved to the up position as well as deployed.
Still to be fitted is the marking or warning device which is attached to the front bumper.
