Hi all, are there any Mirage 3 cz plans that show the pannel detail perhaps? I have a mate that will be doing a 1/5 scale SAAF RC model and needs as much info as he can get.

Thanx

Theuns

Good Mornings

I have 1/72 scale drawings at home. An old English newspaper/letter from the 70's.

Thanx mate, I have the 1/48 hobbyboss kit plans. I just thought it might be easier if there was someone who had it in digital format. [-o<

This is an EZ but the CZ and other Mirage III versions all use the same basic scheme.

Thank you for the information relayed via Theuns...it is of great use.
The current Mirage is a 111 cz ..scratch built by Mr. Stein from Namibia. The man is a genuis and the build quality and detail is absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately the plane changed hands a number of times and each owner did a new paintjob. I had to remove the layers of paint to redo it in the gloss camo scheme and unfortunately some of the panel lines were covered. The original scheme was the "Black Widow" scheme (the man is such a perfectionist that he even obtained the exact same paint as was used on the real one).

Ok back to current status.. the camo paint is done and it is now time for the detail. Getting line drawings of the 2squadron badge and ejection seat signs is a bit of a problem...any help here would be appreciated.

I attach a pic of the Mirage as it is at present ( apologies for the quality....cell phone pic) ......ok easier said than done........how do I do that.....no attach icon?

One thing is certain.....I am hooked on the beautiful lines of the Mirage 111......I must have a bigger one that will be detailed to the tee!

P.s Mr. Stein competed in the world jet masters with another of his scratch built Mirage 111's......even the brake chute worked on that jet......it was so realistic, I expected a robotic pilot to exit from the cockpit...lol

Kind regards...and thank you for all the information

Eish I hope this works... The Lady is still in progress. Currently busy with handcutting of the masks for the castle and bokkie.

Does anyone have some spare "time in a bottle" - can do with some!

Regards
