SADF officers sword for sale. Manufactured by EF Horster of Solignen. Has old coat of arms. Good condition with scabbard.
Reasonable offers for this collectable

Any history on the sword? Who it once belonged to, what regiment did they serve in???

No history. I am a knife collector and bought this and a naval sword together with a number of bayonets from a collector. Kept the naval sword as part of my nautical collection, but no place on my wall for this sword. No serial numbers or markings other than maker and SA coat of arms. I had originally thought to round the set out with a SAAF officers dagger.
See bulkhead in my cabin (actually my corner of the family room).
