Annually, the Southern Right whales visit Hermanus, and surrounding areas, to breed and calf

Today I took these in Walkerbay, Hermanus

They are on their way for the winter

Thought I'd share it here

Stood at Gearings point and Sievers point, between 11:00 and 13:00 and then they disappeared like submarines
They can stay underneath for up to 30 min, and sometimes they do
