Does anybody know where I can get hold of a SAAF fixed wing pilot helmet with mask ? I don't have any idea of how things work in the SAAF, but I figured with the Impalas and Cheetahs retired, there should be some surplus / obsolete gear on hand. Maybe that will get sold as part of the package if they do sell the Cheetahs - does anybody have some info ?

I'll buy or trade for USAF gear from my collection.

Was fortunate to keep my own spare from the unit I served at: 85 Combat FS

Main paint blue of the unit and the design was for ASII (Sqn Intelligence) member on unit using our mustering badge. See Below

Received two as a gift from the Gripen Team during AAD 2006 - for support an liaison with 2 Sqn during their visit to the show at that time. We made a number of visits happen for the Gripen team, primarily aimed at hosting 2 Sqn and some senior vlammies previaously involved with the project.

No idea what they cost??
