They dont, they send you an sms which tells you when and where to be. So dont worry, if you told them you are available you will get an sms later. Call them a second time to confirm you are available...just to make sure. When did you get the sms to confirm your availability?

I called them twice to confirm my availability, and I still didn't get an sms to say where I must go.
It happens.

More often than not it seems. Sorry to hear Gripen. The second time I phoned to confirm it didnt sound like they had any records of me confirming before. Soon after I phoned the second time I got an sms. Ok, so point is...keep phoning in UNTIL you get an sms no, seriously.

Dude, know as much as you can about the air force, thats all you need. But anyone that has gone through the trouble of applying and it being their dream to fly for the air force and all that, would, just by interest...know quite a lot anyways. Except maybe the history. Could you maybe tell me when you applied and when you are going to selections ?

Madiba I didnt get an sms either, but its just because the selections have stopped for now. It will continue again somewhere in October

The selections are still on ,i was there this week and the training starts july.i'm wishing you the best of luck bra.but dn't worry they will call you bra.dnt give up.i need some help bra maybe you could help me.i really need some help about a psychometric test,i need someone to teach or give me tips about how to pass the test.if you could help please i need it man.

Ah, I suspected something like that. I'm not worrying, but maybe I should fax some papers through again tomorrow , I thought I had good marks . Sorry man cant help you there, except that you should stick to honesty on the test!

Edz, Katlego, good luck with your selection process!

Regarding the tips for Psycometrics, just get a good nights rest and also polish up on some basic maths and laws of physics as that will be tested. Fractions, newtons law etc

The only place where you are going to answer 'honestly' is the tests that you write before Vienna Testing. As Edz said, just be honest as they will catch you out if you are lying.
