Namibia Gets F-7s

Just read on a Chinese forum a translated articles that Namibia has received 2 FT-7NGs which are trainers. That suggests they will be getting a few of the F-7NGs. They are believed to have the same specifications as the Pakistani F-7PG Skybolts. See here: http://www.pakistaniforces.com/F-7PG_Skybolt/

Would be intresting to compare and see how this matches against the Tswana F-5s.

Further to this, Namibia had already ordered 12 F-7NMs in August 2005. Check: http://cnair.top81.cn/F-7_J-7_J-8.htm under the F-7PG/BG discussion. Hope to get some photos soon but should not look very different from the Parkistani F-7PG below:

Another "allegedly" NAF Hind. Seems to have a different colour scheme though from the one I posted on May 27th. It is a different version anyway.

The two transports to the left are Antonov An-26s. Here is one of them:

The two next to the four F-7s are Harbin Y-12

Here also is one of their Mil-24s.

They also have a VIP August AB 139

They operate some Mil-8 Hips too. One is seen here on there Independence Day celebrations.

My first time to see a photo of a Namibian K-8 besides the Google Earth images. ... ... Found a close-up, just showing the serial #.

No, but wish I was in his shoes, i.e. able to enter such facilities and have a closer look!

Since you asked, here is one of me:

Accorging to SIPRI the Namibian F-7s have Italian radar = Grifo-MG. Grifo MG has an enlarged 350mm (13.8in) diameter antenna and an expanded 30 elevation and azimuth capability.
