In a similar vein, but at a much slower pace my 4x4 vehicle was attacked by an Eland Bull Nov 2010. We were just doing some game viewing on a farm here in W-Cape when the eland charged down the car in a deliberate attack.
My wife got a 'groot skrik'. Damages were R20,000...with the door impaled as can be seen in the photo, but moreover the A-frame post on the Windscreen...impaled.
So maybe that is why our airforce planes of another era were so potent, 'fit-for-purpose' air systems...Impala, Bosbok, Kudu etc :lol:

I'd wager that if he'd been klapped by an eland he'd have a lot more than just a broken helmet to show for it !
