Im building this M-12 155mm gun carrage. Nice detail to the kit, im going for one used in france in 44/45

Ta Geoff. They are black in the kit. I sprayed a light coat of earth to give a brownish tint with some black still showing through. Then I added some earth colored chalk pastel powders fixed with a PVA /water mix. The areas thet would chafe I used a craphite pencile to give a metal look without looking silver.

I haven't used pastels / chalk for a very long times.

i make a thinned mix of pva glue and water as my pigment fixer, works well

Calling it done. Interesting build with some new weathering tecniques, worked out well.

what is interesting about this 155mm gun is that it needed supply of amm. It only carried 10 shells in the rear bay.
