According to the photographs of the following

ZS-CVD A-26/On Mark Marksman
https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9085937

ZS-MUL DC-6B
https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9085933

7P-AND An-2
https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9076818

The above museum should open in November

Anyone know anymore on this and the location?
It looks like ZS-CVD & 7P-AND were photographed at the same location - tail of the An.2 can be seen in the photo of ZS-CVD, so was the DC-6 there also?

Hi Biff

I am not sure what the reference is to a museum?

The aircraft are located on plot north of Wonderboom.

Hi Mars,

Many thanks for the location, it does make you wonder about the reference to a museum opening in November

Particularly the 'military' part.

I passed by there about a month ago and stopped to have a look at the DC-6, also an Antonov An-2 on the grounds

Saw the sign regarding rezoning/ opening of military museum... seems to be a lot of surplus/old military vehicles, shunting locomotive and some passenger train carriages on the plot

Will post some low qual pics later

Is this the same A-26 that had been stored for many years in SAAF museum junkyard @ AFB Swartkop?
