An accident while the Army was packing up their display at the Centurion Cricket Ground after the test match against India, resulted in minor damage to the field.

While I worked at ADS in Midrand in 1992 or 1993, a Ratel (I think) suffered a similar runaway incident - being heavy and on a down-hill slope towards the N1, they were lucky that there was a building in the way which stopped it (it took out the door frame on the ADS hanger / warehouse building where they worked on bigger projects). I'm not sure I ever heard what caused the brake release.
