I have now installed the Postimage plugin, so images can be uploaded directly to the Postimage website. :D

I find that 800x600 is a good compromise size. :smt023

Seems Photbucket is back!

Photobucket restores photos “taken hostage,”

You still have to pay for third-party hosting, but the images which disappeared are now accessible again.

Looks like Photo Bucket is allowing third party hosting again but with a ugly water mark pasted across the image.

At least flickr wasn't as silly as photo bucket about it.

The problem is that the advertising revenue model doesn't seem to work for hosting companies. Personally I find adverts annoying, the other thing a I learnt this year is that free services are limited in one way or another. At least with a paid for hosting there is guarantee of the service offering.
