Here is a description of a build - http://www.themodellingnews.com/2017/01 ... akoms.html
The English is a bit off in places but otherwise it looks ok.

Thanks, saw that one. I am just wondering how much artistic license he used on the interior, as it doesn't quite agree with the painting instructions, why I am looking for help :)

Hi Guys,

Wasn't the interior painted in a cream colour?

Regards,
Stratobat

Hey Airfire,

I thought so - Thank you :smt023

I wonder how much of the interior of the model will be visible once some green tint has been applied to the windows?

Regards,
Stratobat

Hi Stratobat,

I have a couple of photos I took at the 2009 Potch Artillery Open Day that should give you an idea.

As you can see in this photo, in real life the green tint is hardly noticable so I am doing mine untinted.

I have a few more pics of the interior as well as a few detailed pics of the outside if you are interested :-)

Enjoy your build!

Please! Any and all photos :D

As for the windows, all photos I have seen of the G6 taken from a distance away clearly show a green tint to the windows. Maybe the effect is reduced up close?

Oops. I have just realised my comments should've been directed at Cobusvj. Sorry 'bout that Cobus.

Also, the picture of the drivers cabin is of the prototype displayed at the Jhb War Museum and might differ from the ones currently in use by the SANDF.

I will post some more pics later in the day (NZ time)
Cheers
Rene

In theory it should but you may have to experiment with some clear plastic card and spray one coat and then another coat until you get a shade that looks right.

Thank you for posting the photographs, Flying Dutchman :)
