I use the second one, bought it at Makro about a year ago when the compressor I had been using for around 30 years packed in. I have had no issues so far. My only criticism is that it is quite loud but fills the tank quite quickly and you get a lot of spraying done from a full load so is not too much of an issue.

On a lighter note it has an autostart feature that once the pressure drops to a certain level it switches on to fill again. I nearly crap myself each time it happens #-o Just remember to switch it off once full and turn it on manually!

Hey Drifter,

I have not heard any complaints about the Ryobi one either and I think it also comes with a two year warranty?

The 50L tank should fill in roughly three to four minutes or thereabouts.

Regards,
Stratobat

Ok, thanks guys. Done and dusted then. Will get myself the Ryobi. There is a silent compressor, 24L, but it's only 550W, that seems a bit weak to me.

@Bushpig, I would imagine one would get far with 50L.
