What colours did you use for this bird?

I started with the standard dark earth/mid stone & azure blue ... but weathered the aircraft considerably

I'll post the FS colors I used this evening.

I am new here, so I hope you are gracious in case this question has already been asked in this forum.

I am an rc modeller from Germany and currently building up a foamy Spitfire Vb in 1:10 from Durafly. In redoing the kit I chose AX-N ER874 to be re-built. While researching in WWW I also found these lovely arts of Brent Best and finally the one of "CireCooks V".

I am near to add the decals, therefore am in need of the fact how the "AX-N" is looking order wise on the starboard side: "AX-N" or "N-AX"?
Couldn't find any image showing this, just this drawing of a small scale decal brand. Not sure if they knew...



As another question, was this plane flown by Lt. Schalk Willem van de Merwe or by Lt. M. Eric Robinson, as told here: https://issuu.com/mechinf/docs/cirecooks_the_story_bb ? Or by both?

Hi, Lt. Schalk Willem van de Merwe flew AX N ER874 and Lt. M. Eric Robinson flew AX N JG720. (He also flew ER874)

Only a pleasure buddy.

The logbook entries of Lt. Robinson for April 1943:

1943-04-04: He flies the first operation in "CIRECOOKS V" after mentioning that "IV" is clapped.
He then flies eight operations in this a/c.
1943-04-17: Fetches "CIRECOOKS VI", and mentions that "V" was pranged by Lt. vd Merwe.
