There's a fairly good (brief) article about the Namibian Navy on Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namibian_Navy - with links to useful sources.

Yeah but we still have a MoD that isn't revealing much info but they are more than open towards the Brazilian media :( The only time u learn about acquisitions is when they are delivered and commissioned into service. We also have no clue as to their long term plans whether to remain a Coast Guard(Which makes for a small country) or they'll buy some fighting ships(I think they wouldnt be affordable)...though securing the EEZ should be the prime focus

No it isn't.

Most MP5s have a collapsible stock, with the exception I believe of the MP5K-PDW, which is a folder. Another way to tell is that the magazine isn't curved. Straight magazines appeared on the original MP5s and the 10mm version but the latter is at a more noticeable angle than the one pictured.

The firearm in question is a FAMAE SAF: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FAMAE_SAF

How different is it from the stuff your issued with down there..I guess its adopted from the Brazilian navy seeing that pretty much about the Namibian Navy is intertwined with Brazil

It appears the top is thicker than the pants. All so looks like a 2 piece where we use a 1 piece suit. Then of course there is the difrence in colour. Thats all i can tell from 1 pic. Haveing never worn it i could not say witch is better. All so we dont use the helmet on the ships. If that is what your guys wear on ships then the use of helmets and boots is diffrent.

Late last year Namibian Marine Amphibious Commandos finished their commando training. Marine Commandos wear the black caps with the patches on the left side of it and another on the left hand side of the chest

Old clips by the way...Looks like the Somalia situation made sure the Kenyan Navy got their fair share of sea time.
