I would not say it is none spec. I mean 32 battalion did accept it in the early 90s.

Maybe they want something lighter and smaller for QRF teams. Not all of them where useing it.

Well I do like the m83 more since it can carry more. There must be something about it that is good.

Yes it is on. But it is comeing out In stages. I don't think this is related. The kit is not new just not been used for 20 years.

Does look more user friendly for adjustment...

One downside of the M83. :?

Tangent: In fact want to get the chest rig now in addition to my vest.
