Hi all,

I am currently a South African citizen living in the US. I am 25 yrs old, weight aprox. 170LBS, 5' 7" tall, and have 20/13 vision. I also possess an FAA issued Private Pilot Certificate and am working on an instrument rating currently.

My question is whether or not I would be eligible for recruitment from the SAAF? I am also interested in finding out what the over all experience is like (boot camp, training, etc...)

I had thought about enlistment with the US Army but am not willing to give up my South African citizenship. I am VERY interested in recruitment for the South African Air Force.

Hy guys need help some issue.how can i apply in the USAF.When i am a SA Citizen.

Simple, you can't.

"Enlistment into the U.S. Air Force by citizens of countries other than the United States is limited to those foreign nationals who are legally residing in the United States and possess an Immigrations and Naturalization Service Alien Registration Card (INS Form I-151/551, commonly known as a "Green Card"). Applicants must be between 17 and 27; meet the mental, moral and physical standards for enlistment; and must speak, read and write English fluently".
