Hey

Well this is my first post and how to find all the answers i need on here you guys seem to know your stuff.

My name is Justin Spence i am 17 years old.
i have been around aeroplanes my whole life i have helped restore rebuild maintained and flown them in short aeroplanes are my life.
My grandfather started the EAA in SA. My family has a hanger out at Krugersdorp flying club where our aeroplanes are kept.

I have always loved aeroplanes and will always this explains my want to join the SAAF but i have a few questions and hope you guys can help.

1. Whats life like as in the SAAF
2. Can you do your 3 years basic's then fly choppers and still make the way up to the fighter group.
3. What flying is there for choppers and fixed wing as in can i do reconnaissance in both or what other flying can i do.
4. can i write my civilian licensees while in the SAAF
5. How are you guys enjoying it

Any advice welcome
Thanx

Watsup Justin!

I don't know if you remember me but i met you and your dad at the Rand Airshow and we talked about the air force and you were asking Gerhard Lourens from the Silver Falcons some questions :D
I guess its not surprising that we meet again on a SAAF forum.

Steve
