That looks like the old Soviet ML-20 152mm Howitzer dating from 1937 and a 61-K 37mm AAA variant , also dating from 1939..

Namibia still has a long way to go before building a basic defence capability. I wonder if the generals actually do tell the powers that be how antiquated the equipment (they are being asked to do the job with) is :oops: ...We(on a yearly basis) have people that complain about the MoD having the second highest budget allocation and how in their eyes the armed forces should be disbanded :lol:

I'm definitely convinced now that Chute Systems are also running some sort of Commando Selection course in Namibia

So yesterday our C-I-C had a busy schedule firstly not only opening the new and improved Walvis Bay International AirPort Terminal but also commissioning the Marine Batt and the Naval Training School As well.
