That article mentions that the other Asian countries to operate carriers are India and Thailand. The last I heard about that Thai carrier was that it spent more time in port than at sea due to the rather steep operating costs.

Very interesting but the fact that they are going to build vessels indigenous to them is good. that way they dont have to depend on countries like the US and India and asian countries that have these capabilities. Countries whose ties are already deteriorating with china.
