Hello ,this is my first time here I would like to know what are the requirements to join the SA Army .I am in school right now and wish to know if my subject choices will affect my selection for the army. I wish to join the infantry division as being a soldier is my dream.I am 16 and wish to join at the age of 19. please give your advice it will be appreciated.

thanks for the help...To volunteer for the MSD programme I would need matric but is their specific subject I need currently i am doing maths eng,afr,acc,biology,and physics but special forces and Infantry corps is where I wish to go should I change to easier subjects as these dont seem to need a knowledge of Physics or biology?

I would recommend that you stick with your current subjects - always good to have a backup to fall back on.
