Difficult to say, the Typhoon, F-35, F-18, Su-27 were all suitably loud. The surprise for me was the Tornado.

As the jets go to full reheat (afterburner) you hear a thundering crackling roar, however its not so much the sound that is impressive bit; but rather feeling the power from the engines. Literally everything starts shaking and you feel the vibrations in your chest.

The F-35 is was truly impressive it sounded like the space shuttle, just sheer power. But when the throttle was pulled back it was noticeably quiet.

Nice shots again Mars :smt023

@Airfire The Flanker is up there in terms of noise. What is great about it is the engine note as the pilot throttles down. It's like a whistle, similar to an Impala with the volume turned to 11. The Rafale is pretty noisy too, along with the F-35. The F/A-18 is noiser and more manoeuvrable than I expected. Mars opinion may differ :)

I thought the FA-18 was unreal both in terms of noise and maneuverability, another big surprise.
